Shynd’s WoW Modification Journal

About This Blog

I recently turned my reverse-engineering attention back to World of Warcraft after having dabbled in other games and other projects for nearly two years (dating back to WoW!Sharp, just before it went down).  In the past two weeks, I’ve taught myself a few things about WoW hacking–accessing the linked-list of in-game objects through WoW’s Thread Local Storage (TLS), among a few others–but now I’m hoping to really dedicate myself and, hopefully, document what I learn and the methods I used to find and/or implement what I learn in this blog.  I hope that this can be a good learning experience for me and, when finished, an execellent learning tool for others.

Much of what I learn I will be learning from others; they will always be credited as accurately as I possibly can.  Please, if you catch me posting something without due credit, tell me and I will change it.
